Day 24

AR-Rasheed - (The Guide)

What if…

We have read 100 self-help books.

And that’s the exact reason we’re failing in life.

Because while we were consuming advice from people who are still confused themselves…

We ignored the Ultimate Book and guidance from Ar-Rasheed Himself.

And the scary part?

You don’t even know Ar-Rasheed properly.

Allah is Ar-Rasheed.

That means He doesn’t just guide.

He Himself is perfectly guided.

He doesn’t make mistakes.
He doesn’t need advice.
He doesn’t need mentors.

He knows what is correct.
He makes perfect decisions.

And from His perfection…

He shows you the way.

You may think it’s wrong.
You may think it’s difficult.
You may think it doesn’t make sense.

But truth is sometimes difficult to accept.

When you feel butterflies — He sees the heartbreak.

You see one step.
He sees the cliff 10 years from now.

And from His perfect guidance is what He taught us through His Messenger ﷺ and His Book — His Speech.

He showed you the light.

Now it’s upon you to follow it.

He will make truth clear from falsehood.

There is no compulsion in religion. The right path has become clearly distinct from the wrong path.” (Qur’an 2:256)

Then the choice is yours.

So when Allah guides you — don’t ignore it.

When confused — follow and obey Allah and His Messenger. That is the straight path. That alone leads to the right destination.

Stop running to fake gurus.

Stop treating trending advice like revelation.

Trust the Guide who never makes mistakes.

Before making any decision — ask Him directly.

Before doing anything — pause.

Don’t hasten.

Ask:

Will this please Allah?
Is this obedience or ego?
Is this aligning with what He taught — or am I ignoring His commands?

That question alone will change your life.

And don’t think you’re self-sufficient.

Don’t think you need Allah in some areas but not others.

You need Him all the time.

Because you are human.

You see through emotions.
Through bias.
Through wounds.
Through desire.

You’ve forgotten most of your past.

You cannot see the future.

You cannot see people’s intentions.

You don’t know which path is fruitful and which one slowly poisons you.

Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know. (2:216)

Allah knows. You don’t.

And Allah never makes mistakes.

So ask Him.

Look at the youth of the cave in Surah Al-Kahf.

They were hunted.
Pressured.
Outnumbered.

They didn’t say:

“Destroy the king.”
“Fix society.”
“Change the world.”

They said:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
“Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us right guidance (rushd) in our affair.” (18:10)

Rushd.

Not just “success.”

Rushd is the right choice
at the right time
with the right outcome
even if you don’t understand it yet.

They didn’t ask for ease.

They asked for clarity.
Wisdom.
Growth.

That’s maturity in faith.

To solve the external world, they turned inward and upward.

They protected their hearts.

And what happened?

Allah increased them in guidance.
Covered them in mercy.
Altered the laws of the world for them.
Preserved their story eternally.

They are the heroes of Islam.

All because they chose Allah.
Acted upon the little guidance they had.
And asked the Source for more.

So when life feels overwhelming…
When culture feels loud…and when the
pressure feels heavy…

You don’t fix the entire world.

You try to protect your heart.

You go back to Allah.

You say:

Ya Rasheed.
Prepare the right path for me.
Fix my decisions.
Align my choices.

And guidance isn’t just knowing right from wrong.

It’s being given the strength to choose right
when wrong feels easier.

And we need guidance in every single decision.

In very choice.

And your heart should feel content knowing you are asking the best possible Source.

The One who is perfectly guided.

The One who knows what’s best for you even when you don’t.

Trust His way.

It has never failed anyone.

May Allah guide us to the straight path and keep us firm upon it. 🤲

One Question for You :

If Allah is Ar-Rasheed — perfectly guided, flawless in judgment — then:

  • Why do I delay obedience?

  • Why do I negotiate with commands?

  • Why do I treat clear guidance like optional advice?

If His guidance is perfect…

Then every command is protection.

Every prohibition is mercy.

Every delay is precision.

Do I see it that way?

Make this dua right now :

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
“Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us right guidance (rushd) in our affair.” (18:10)

You just asked Allah for the right choice
at the right time
with the right outcome
even if you don’t understand it yet.
